A gentle, supportive space designed for new and seasoned mothers and their tiny humans
This four-week mindful movement series blends yoga, breath work, mobility, and therapeutic group conversation to support both the physical and emotional transition into motherhood.
Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes and is intentionally designed to move at the pace of motherhood. Babies are always welcome to cry, sleep, feed, or be held during class, there is no expectation for stillness or perfection, this is the “everything goes space”
Every week we gather in a circle to connect, move, breathe, and reflect together, to build a sense of communitea.
Many women who attend these circles stay connected long after,
often forming friendships that continue through the early years of motherhood.
Who This Circle Is For
The Mama Nest is designed for mothers with babies in tow who are longing for space to slow down, reconnect, and be supported during this season of motherhood.
This series may feel especially supportive if you are looking to:
Reconnect with your body after birth
Support and regulate your nervous system
Share the experience of motherhood with others who understand
Build meaningful community with other mothers
Both mobile and non-mobile babies are warmly welcome. A small area will be set up for babies who are on the move so they can explore safely nearby while you participate.
You are invited to come exactly as you are — tired, joyful, overwhelmed, curious, or somewhere in between.
You and your tiny human,
belong in the Nest

Yoga Mat
Water bottle
Mug if you'd like some tea during class
Blanket (aka a knee protector)
Blankets for your tiny human
Meals/snacks/milk as needed to keep your tiny human comfortable
If your tiny human prefers to be worn, you can absolutely try to do a class with them snuggled against you.
You’re welcome to bring anything else that helps you and your baby feel comfortable.
Price & Extended Health
The investment for this entire series $160
This circle is facilitated by a Registered Clinical Counsellor and blends community, reflection, and therapeutic support for mothers during the postpartum transition. Some participants may be able to submit receipts for reimbursement through extended health plans that cover RCC services.
Our Time Together
Each session includes this format:
Arrival & Communitea Check-In
We will begin by settling into the space and grabbing yourself a warm cup of herbal tea.
As you settle in, we will check in. This is an opportunity to share how you’re arriving that day and to feel supported in a community of other mothers through similar experiences.
Group Reflection & Support Circle
Each week includes guided group conversation focused on themes of motherhood such as identity shifts, nervous system regulation, support systems, and self-compassion. Sharing is always optional!
Breathwork & Grounding
Think simple breathing practices that help regulate the nervous system, release tension in the body, and allow you to reconnect with the body during a time when life can feel overwhelming.
Mindful Movement & Postpartum Yoga
The movement portion focuses on gentle mobility, strength rebuilding, posture support, and body awareness. Movements are adapted for postpartum bodies. Think during this time we will focus on reconnection to the pelvic floor, and shapes that counter the aches and pains that come with loving and caring for tiny humans. We are mothers ourselves, we got you!
Baby-Integrated Movement
At times babies may be included in the practice through gentle rocking, holding, or simple interactive movements. Babies can also rest on a blanket beside you while you move. This is entirely up to you and what you feel is best for both you and your tiny human.
Closing Integration
We end with a short moment of stillness, breath, or relaxation to help integrate the practice before returning to the day. Think a real life adaption on savasana dubbed “mamasana”
This is a A Baby-Friendly Environment
This space is designed to support real motherhood.
You are now apart of this communitea and a part of our nest, as is your tiny human.
You are welcome to:
Feed your baby at any time
Feed your own self at any time.
Change diapers whenever needed
Step out and return freely
Hold, rock, or soothe your baby throughout class
There is no expectation to complete every movement or stay focused the entire time,
motherhood is constant distractions.
We get it!
More Than a Movement Class

Everything you bring into the room belongs here.

Sky
Who am I you ask? I am Sky.
Having changed directions so many times I now understand the need for road signs. My personal yellow brick road didn’t lead to Oz but rather it took me through some interesting twists and turns. Through my journey, I’ve held hands with the scarecrow and have tasted her fear. I’ve worked alongside the dead, and the dying. I’ve seen the mind in all its glory fight courageous battles and tell its own horror tales. I’ve seen it destroy itself and conquer all else.
I’ve learned there is no magical recipe for life, but rather a series of tools, implemented if you will, that can help you navigate the street signs thrown in your path, empowering you to live your best life. With these tools, I teach others how to live a balanced life, whether that by alleviating stress, chronic pain, or navigating the adjustments of the body, mind and soul as one goes through their pregnancy/birthing/parenting journey.
My experiences and certifications include: B.S. in Anthropology and B.A. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University. Additionally, I am a Holistic Nutritionist (CNP) and have over 650 hours certified as a yoga coach where I trained in Bali Indonesia. When I became pregnant I furthered my teaching and knowledge to prenatal yoga and postnatal yoga so I could support myself and my daughter throughout our journey. Since then, it has inspired me to support other humans going through their own journey, so I can hold that space for them, building the community I desperately craved during the Pandemic. Now I have a son, and everything has shifted further. I am here to guide you and help you feel a sense of communitea.
These holistic ingredients combined with motherhood have given me a unique lens which has led to the creation of Sky Yoga & Wellness.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and follow along.

Stacey
My name is Stacey Barclay (she/her). I’m a counsellor, group facilitator, hypnotherapist, meditation teacher, and someone who is endlessly curious about the human experience.
Over the past decade, I’ve spent much of my life immersed in learning about healing, connection, and what it means to be human.
My work now lives at the intersection of counselling, ceremony, and community spaces. I facilitate monthly circles, annual retreats, weekly meditation gatherings, group therapy programs, online courses, and workshops designed to support people in slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and sharing in meaningful community.
My background as a counsellor and social worker grounds the work I do, while my training in yoga, meditation, breathwork, hypnotherapy, and ceremony brings in more embodied and reflective practices. Rather than seeing these as separate worlds, I love weaving them together to create spaces that support both emotional processing and personal insight.
At the heart of everything I offer is a simple intention: to create spaces where the full human experience is welcome — the light, the shadow, the questions, and the growth that can happen when we feel safe enough to be seen.
Outside of this work, you’ll usually find me with a cup of tea and a stack of books, dancing to music in the kitchen, napping in the grass when the weather allows, or traveling and learning from different cultures and landscapes around the world. Nature remains one of my greatest teachers, and community continues to be some of the most powerful medicine I know.
