Service Description

​ This four-week mindful movement series blends yoga, breath work, mobility, and therapeutic group conversation to support both the physical and emotional transition into motherhood. ​ Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes and is intentionally designed to move at the pace of motherhood. Babies are always welcome to cry, sleep, feed, or be held during class, there is no expectation for stillness or perfection, this is the “everything goes space”  ​ Every week we gather in a circle to connect, move, breathe, and reflect together, to build a sense of communitea.  Who This Circle Is For ​ The Mama Nest is designed for mothers with babies 0–12 months who are longing for space to slow down, reconnect, and be supported during this season of motherhood. ​ This series may feel especially supportive if you are looking to: - reconnect with your body after birth - support and regulate your nervous system - share the experience of motherhood with others who understand - build meaningful community with other mothers ​ Both mobile and non-mobile babies are warmly welcome. A small area will be set up for babies who are on the move so they can explore safely nearby while you participate. ​ You are invited to come exactly as you are — tired, joyful, overwhelmed, curious, or somewhere in between. ​ You and your tiny human, belong in the Nest When & Where Spirit Rising Studio – Maple Ridge Wednesdays | 11am - 12:30pm May 13 May 20 May 27 June 3 ​ The building is older and doesn’t have an elevator, you will need to climb one set of stairs. ​ What to Bring Here is what to bring to class - note these are just suggestions. You can make anything work as you know yourself and your tiny human best. - Yoga Mat - Water bottle  - Mug if you'd like some tea during class - Blanket (aka a knee protector)  - Blankets for your tiny human - Meals/snacks/milk as needed to keep your tiny human comfortable - If your tiny human prefers to be worn, you can absolutely try to do a class with them snuggled against you.  ​ You’re welcome to bring anything else that helps you and your baby feel comfortable. ​ Price & Extended Health The investment for this entire series $160 This circle is facilitated by a Registered Clinical Counsellor and blends community, reflection, and therapeutic support for mothers during the postpartum transition. Some participants may be able to submit receipts for reimbursement through extended health plans that cover RCC services.

Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice if you are unable to make the date/time you signed up for. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the full amount being owed for the services/circle.
