A LITTLE
ABOUT ME

HUMANNESS: My name is Stacey Barclay, and my pronouns are she/her. My heritage is rooted in Eastern European ancestry, making me a visitor to this land. I spend much of my time sipping copious amounts of tea, wandering through forests to admire the moss, or losing myself in the pages of a book. I love creating magical messes in the kitchen, and I firmly believe that dancing is an underrated cure for almost anything. Exploring the world and its stories has been one of my greatest medicines.
MY PATH TO THERAPY: From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by people — our minds, our pain, our relationships, and how we find meaning in a complex world. This curiosity about myself and others naturally drew me toward counselling. Over time, it has grown into a deep commitment: to walk beside others as they explore the parts of themselves that live beneath the surface, providing a space where the fullness of the human experience is honoured.
WISDOM GATHERED: Learning and expanding perspective is something I hold dear to my heart. I completed my Masters of Counselling, and my previous academic and professional background stems from social work. Aside from traditional education, I spent ten years working and training in the health and wellness world, offering Clinical Hypnotherapy, Mediation, Sound Healing, Somatic Movement and Various Yogic Traditions. The wisdom I have gathered on this path has been from many incredible clients, mentors, teachers and space holders, for which I am tremendously grateful.
